Can you remember the last time you spent more than 5 minutes doing nothing? Not looking at your phone, not engaging in mental activity, not even meditating, just doing. absolutely. nothing? When we don’t fill every bit of time and space with our thought or judgements or expectations, we allow the parts of reality and the parts of ourselves that are not yet manifest to come into this dimension.

I was born and raised in Wyoming and have been living in Reno Nevada for 17 years. I have a couple of yoga studios there, one (The Studio) has been operating since 2009. I have been talking the talk for a long time and finally feel like I am walking the walk. In March of 2020 my boyfriend and I retreated to his yurt in Humboldt where he owns 80 acres because we thought the world was ending and ended up spending the rest of the year up there off the grid. That is when I slowed down and starting realizing what it really meant to be present. All of the yoga stuff I had been espousing for years and all of the self help books I had read and conceptualized started to click in on a visceral level and things started to shift. Now I am dedicated to making it a priority to be off the grid at least half of the time every year, as my being is more in alignment than ever before and I am experiencing the joy of being more and more every day. I have never been much of a presence on social media but I am feeling compelled to share some of the experiences I am having currently in hopes that even one person will find peace through my offerings.
